Anyone run a welded rear locker with a 5 speed?
I'm not worried about the strength D44, but more about the dialy driving. This would not be a permanent upgrade, but long enough for me to save for a detroit or an ARB.
Right know I run a D35 with a Lock-Right, it works well, but it has it's draw backs. I know with a welded spiders I'll get increased tire wear.
If I had to go back to a Lock-Rite in the D44, could I still use the carrier or is it toast?
