So right now ive got a 4.5" lift thats probley sagged down to more like a 4" lift, ive got a dropped T-case and its a short arm. I want to start getting parts for a 5.5" lift. Im going to get used 5.5 coils and leafs from someone. What else do i need to get. Will i need a SYE or will my drop be ok? What else will i need to replace or buy?
Thnink about for a minute. You (anyone, not you personally) lift a rig to gain ground clearance and increase suspension articulation, then you lower the transfercase because of driveline vibes. See a problem with this route?
Get rid of the TC drop and install a H&T SYE. Low-buck and very effective.
For anything above 4.5" I'd strongly recommend either Long Arms or Drop Brackets.
Longer shocks and brakelines should be on your list of stuff to buy too. Will your track bar work with the additonal lift? How about the rest of the steering components?

I have a sagging 5in lift but it is even borderline for the tc drop I have. I say DO the SYE. If you dont do a long arm set up DO the drop brackets I have yet to install drop brackets and my ride is rough as hell with short arms. Also as FrankZ said the brake lines and shocks are number1 priorities. But dont get conned into the $100 dollard lines at a local store I got my front and rear extended steel lines online for $40. So far I have had no steering components problems (knock on wood) other than a bent tie rod. Good luck!
You do not mention the control arms. The arms from your original lift will not work unless they are adjustable and can adjust enough to correct your front caster angle. Without proper caster this rig will not stay in its own lane. You will get yourself killed and probably take someone with you.
short list
springs
control arms
shocks
brake lines
track bar relocator
drop pitman arm
sway bar discos

No i dont have the stock control arms, they are aftermarket ones. And i already have RE discos. I did forget to mention those i forgot. B/c im just looking to lift the jeep a lil more till i get out of high school. Once i get out im buying a full long arm lift and going with about a 6.5" lift
And also this summer im going to beef up the hole steering. New HD everything upfront. What would you guys suggest?
Even after market arms won't necessarily work. They have to be adjustable.
Losing any caster angle could be deadly. You can always lift the rig and then fihure out what the angle is. Any less than 5 degrees positive and I would get the arms replaced to adjust it higher.
Well after thinking about it i may just wate till im out of high school and put on a full long arm lift and do everything right the first time, and not have to do it twice
