Lift question, 2"?

30's with stock flares and stock wheels. 31's with stock wheels, trimming of flares, and some steering stop adjustment.... 32's with aftermarket (less backspacing) wheels and lots of fender hacking.

I'm running 32" swampers on my 2" lift right now... the short add-a-leaf sucks but the rest of the lift is worth the money for sure. Get the full length add-a-leaf, it might cost you a bit more but your stock leaves will thank you (IE, they won't turn into an S-shape like mine with the short add-a-leaf).

Want to lift my '89 and was wondering how good the 2" lift from RE is? It comes with shocks and blocks/add-a-leaves. What size tire? I'm thinking 30's?
30s match up very nicely with nothing else needed; mine never even rubbed the steering stops. Spend the extra couple bucks to get full-length AALs though.

Yucca, you beat me to everything. I ran 235's bone stock, never had a problem. But stay away form the blocks. Either go aal or make yourself a leaf pack form a dakota or s-10

Uh, what's an AAL? And what's this about an S-10/Dakota leaf pack?
AAL = Add-A-Leaf
And I think there is somthing about that you can mod Dakota leaf's to fit but I'm not sure.
Think there's a link if you search?

The Dakota/s10 thing will give you 4" of lift and theyll ride like

Like what? Been running Dakota springs for about a year now, and really think the rides better than with my full AAL.

get the aal kit not the block kit.
Yes, get full lenght AAL, not the short ones. Try not to use lift blocks in the rear. Front spacers are okay. If I were starting mine over again, I would have gotten full leave packs. But if your only lifting two inches then get the AAL.
