Yesterday......... Chairman Obamao tells the nation not to worry about the unrest in Libya affecting the stability of oil pricing.
Today.......... Fair-unbalanced FOX Newts announces the price of gasoline expected to reach $5.00 per gallon by the end of Spring.
Coming soon..... The invasion of Libya!

You're going to pay $5/gallon regardless of what happens in Libya. All they have to do is say "sky rocketing gas prices" on the TV, and people will go along with it. The precedent has already been set.

Obama and his like-thinkers want energy prices to skyrocket, this will justify his Social Justice/Green initiatives. He's stated this clearly multiple times.
His actions back this up. He pumped billions of tax dollars into alternative energy, GE is in his back pocket....or vice versa.......he used the oil well fire in the Gulf to restrict exploration and cancelled new exploration off-shore in December 2010. He also cancelled oil and gas leases in the West and in Alaska. Most of our oil comes from Canada and Mexico, the 2nd is a threat to our National Security.
Cheap energy is one of the components of our capitalist society that has allowed the US to grow and prosper. Social Justice dicates that the US must be brought down to the level of others around the world, so we are all on the same Socialist plane.
George Soros said this is good, so it must be so.

No, I've read intel summaries when I was in a few years ago, many of things they gamed was based on that, if you are trying to put everyone on an equal or semi equal footing it's much faster to bring the top ones down than the bottom ones up. We did it to the ussr, basically we bankrupted them with military spending and technology, thats fact.
Russia's better off for it, so one could argue that bringing the USSR down from their narcissistic perch made the world a better place.
Currently, the US is on bender in an effort get cheap oil at unsustainable prices from unsustainable regimes. Do you see any parallels?
