LED tails?

What are your thoughts?

NOw that I have the Silverstars up front, I want to go bright all the way around, just the bulbs though, not the whole LED black housing like you see on full size trucks.

Go for it, I'll be interested in seeing how it turns out. Just so you know, alot of vehicles get confusted with LED bulbs because they draw so little power - the car thinks there's a bulb that isn't working.

If this is the case, there's something that you'll want to put inline with the bulb so the car can recognize there's a bulb there. Not sure our Jeeps act like this, but if you get a problem where they blink really fast, this is what you need to do.

I've been looking into moding a series of led bulbs into the stock housing... I'll prolly do this once I'm not so busy with school.

Man , I'd love to do an EV conversion... it'd just have to be able to handle 60 miles... I don't think 30 would handle it for me.

I want that split second turn off and on that an LED bulb gives you.

I will be going to LED's when I get my Thor Guards on my jeep. They have the cutouts for a oval shaped brake/turn/tail light, and then a 2 inch round hole for a reverse light.
