Last Chance Canyon 2/23

Going climbing with a buddy in the Eastern Sierra the weekend of Feb 22/23 and thought we'd do some light wheeling on the way back to LA on Sunday.

Should be an easy few hours, plan to check out the Burro Schmidt Tunnel then run Last Chance Canyon out to Redrock Randsburg Road.

Since we'll be coming from the north, meet at Hart's Place of CA-14 at 1000 on Sunday 2/23 in you're interested in joining.

Not sure yet, probably pick some fairly easy class 3/4 climb since we're both out of shape and I'm not really sure what the snow situation is. I hear its dry though.

Forgot to bump this before I left, but we didn't end up making it to the turn off until about 1130. Drove all the way up to Death Valley Friday night and camped at Wildrose Campground. Hiked Wildrose Peak on Sat then went into the park to get gas at Stovepipe Wells and check out the dunes before heading back.

Smacked the top of my head really good inside the Burro Schmidt tunnel, then drove Last Chance Canyon back to the 14. Took a buddy with me who had never wheeled before, was fun watching him get wide eyed as we drove over rocks.
