Well... chase team will need to have tools... and pretty much just has to get to the pits, so a truck (such as Tim's) might be a better choice for that. Im sure Doug and Sam will be doing that part together. I'm driving,Tim is co-pilot, so hopefully I can make it Live the whole race.

As far as the computer... yeah its pretty hard to find one, and I'd spend $100 or more each time I had to buy one just to try it... and they are year specific and not compatible with just any OBD2 cherokee. I had a heck of a time finding one for Tim's Grand I put back together, and even when I finally foun d one that made it run, it wasn't even the right one and the CEL wouldn't go off.
I can get a whgole harness and computer and everything electronic I need for about $50 at PAP, so that just makes more sense. Not to mention, the HO stuff is a lot easier to deal with as far as simplifying the wiring.

By 2013 my 'six seater tool box' will be in a MUCH state for the trip!
New transmission and clutch and a few other parts it will ready to tow any thing to koh and serve as Pit Support!
