ditch the banks header, go with a clifford, banks is a glorified stock header made of stainless that cracks just like the stock one.

x3, the tf904 will handle 500 horses and is lighter internally= less drivetrain loss

what vehicle has the 727 that bolts to the 4.0? CJs?

Grand Waggy had 360 and 727... 360 has same bolt pattern as 4.0

ah, of course. did it ever come as 2wd? i guess you could just leave the front driveshaft off... but that's a lot of wasted weight having a t-case.

Hmm, I dunno. There were a few 2wd J20's I think, which would have the same drivetrain. But imagine the donuts one could do in 2-low.

If the grand waggy would work, then in theory a Dodge van with a 360 and a 727 should be the same beast....in an uglier box.

Dodge 360 is different from AMC 360.

I imagine some of the AMC cars were equipped with 2wd 727's... this would be a question for Eagle.

what if you went and got a 2WD 727 from a dodge and put the AMC 360 bellhousing on it?
now that's just crazy talk.

Let me know when you find that 727 with removable bellhousing ;)
