Thanks OOC for the pics.
Thanks GLJT for the invite and for putting up with us NAXJA guys.

The trails at The Cliffs have opened up quite a bit from last year.
It would have been a good time if it weren't quite so muddy!

and this would be different from any other time?

So how many more times before you learn your lesson?

I'm sure Brad could probably build a better mudhole behind Helix and save on gas!

Advice to Sean:

Get a bumper with some front end protection
Get some BFG's so you won't always damage tires

Rev
Yeah, maybe you should put your rockers on the front.

I haven't experienced mud outside of trail 10. It seemed to me that the soil composition was mostly clay and would turn to slime very nicely. There are a couple of areas which have opened up, I suspect mainly for the Best Of tour. Still, I won't turn it down :)

I was thinking Sunday about coming down, but decided not as I had other projects. Looks like I missed quite a show!

That's enough out of you.
I hold you personally responsible for my destroyed passenger front and 2 hr cleanup.

Bite me...

Honestly though, I can see the Cliffs becoming a nice place to wheel.
It's new and the trails will take some time to break in (harden) but the terrain is very cool. The trails we were on were sort of a tougher White (Badlands).
We picked a bad day to go there since it rained all night Saturday.
I saw no problems with the trails being too tight like I'd heard.
Here is my favorate pic. Note the LR Freelander that actually went out on the trails.
With expected results.

You go to a place that is kinda muddy when its dry. And flat out gooey when its not. It rains enough that some guy named Noah is hanging around. You run GoodYear MudSkateR's. And then wonder why you can't go anywhere.

I would not drive a Freelander off the dealers lot.....much less to the Cliffs.

not to sound stupider than I am, but where is the Cliffs?

I believe just south of I-80 near I-55.

Fore Wheeler, you find a place on the west side of MI yet?
