Thanks Eagle, I haven't had a chance to post in a couple of days, took a road trip to Iowa with my parents and sister to suprise my aunt and uncle at my uncle's retirement party. You pretty much beat me to saying that that's all of what I was looking for stereo wise, and thats exactly what Dad and I had talked about doing for both XJ's. What do you think should work well with any of the factory systems and how well will a boneyard factory AM/FM/Cassette/CD headunit? The kid I work with was kinda the same way as here (I kinda had that look a car salesman has when he just gets schooled by a customer who knows more about the vehicles he's trying to sell than he does, between talking to him and reading these posts, sorry guys.) The reason I asked that would work with the stock wiring is because another co-worker and his father installed a new, elcheapo head unit in his now near dead '85 Ford LTD (3.8 leaker,..uh..er liter V-$#!,..oopps,...sorry, V-6 if anybody is wondering), and discovered that the head unit would not work with the rest of the factory radio gear and his dad ended up pulling the car apart and replacing all the speakers and doing some re-wiring too. That's what scared me about the job.
