ok, thanks for the reply, my radiator has been neglected by the leasing company before I bought it, then I had the hare brained idea to do my own flushing and tried to drain it through the petcock... what a PITA. :flamemad: I drained 2 gallons and I forgot to fill it up the radiator up and it overheated. It went to 220 degrees for a few minutes and I pulled over to stop and the engine immediately died. I waited about a 1/2 hour in the highway and fortunately had a couple gallons of water with me, and it went fine.
Question is... did I cause any permanent damage to my system? :wstupid:
