I put a SYE in this weekend and discovered the PO had trashed the threads on the front output shaft. I battled the nut back on but I want to get it replaced before I take the Jeep anywhere far. I thought I'd see if anyone on here has an output shaft laying around. It's a 2001 XJ, if that matters. That would save me a trip to a junkyard this Sunday and, if you're in northern CO, may even get me back in commission for a trip to WY this weekend!
Someone's gonna say go get another whole case from the junkyard, but this one's mint inside. Rather not inherit problems if I can avoid it.
