Is this XJ worth a $1,000?

It ran great until it had an issue with the wiring harness. Sounds like it could be fixed for about 500-1000 dollars or less if I get lucky to find a wiring harness.

Body is straight, but it has some spray paint on one side. Interior is tan, and the stereo was stolen. Otherwise interior is in good shape.

I'd say so. Especially being a 93' Up Country, isn't that like the Limited with leather? With the miles, being a high output fairly clean. Blue book is around $3,500 or so. I'd say go for it, its a nice winter project. How bad is the wiring, engine fire???

Unless it had an engine fire, I would say get it. Probably a project that some kid had and he lost interest due to an electrical problem (happens to us 36 yo kids too). There really isnt that much to wire to the HO FI system. CPS, MAP, TPS, injectors, O2, temp. You can probably get it on a scan tool to see where the voltage irregularities are and fix it easy.

Thats what I was thinking Sean. I have Friday off, maybe I can squeeze in a trip to Madera and if he is near my favorite Farmer, I may go say hi to him and his family to.

Pick me up some pecans, will ya? ;)
