Is there anyone in DFW that installs gears?

doin urself. its not that hard. kinda like takin out the spine on a chicken and puttin it back in lmaoHasta

ya but it takes certain measuring tools that not everyone has lying around or that people feel confident in doing.

Yeah. That's true. But im sure your local autoparts store can lend you the right tools. Idk. I just like doing everything myself. Thats just me.

I can do it myself if I have to. But I don't have a place to do it seeing as how my driveway is not level at all. I have done plenty of gear installs when i worked at a shop in Lubbock but now I don't have all the tools nor the flat space and would just rather pay someone to do it.

Yeah, it sucks not having a flat driveway. Thats why I do my work on the street in front of my house. But I always risk getting my legs ran over lol.

My street isnt level either. I live on a hill.:roflmao:

You can use my garage/driveway anytinme. I just moved out of an apartment and into a house and I am so ready to start working on my XJ again.

I use Ken' Auto Repair to do alot of my work. He is located at 4010 NE 28th St. Haltom, Tx 76111.....He has work on alot of xj's including his. Swing by and talk to him and while there notice the pictures on the wall.

Fort Worth Gear (on north side off 35 N and Long) has done driveshaft work and regearing for me. Need to check their prices. They definitely know what they are doing.
