Is there a way to run the VIN to see factory options?

I'm looking to buy a Cherokee but It's 3 hours away. I've got the VIN but googling it brings nothing for a breakdown. Is there a website you can pay to have your VIN researched?

Depending on the year you can send the VIN to Chrysler and they will give you a build sheet.

Take the vin to your local dealership. They can give you a four to five page print out of its status at the time of original sale
