Last weekend Wingut and I installed longarms on Annie. Here's how it went down.
Jack up Jeep.
Install crossmember. You will need to support the transfer case with a jack. Make sure the jeep is secure with four jackstands. Two stands under the axle and two under the frame. After removing the old t-case crossmember, replace with the new Iron Rock crossmember.
After you install the crossmember it is important to get wingnut to remove his control arm drop brackets.
The stock lower arm brackets were then removed. This was the toughest and most time consuming part of the entire job. Joe got to use his air hammer thingy. Sorry I didn't take any pics of this.
Then you install the arms. Easy peasy lemon squeazy.
Put tires on and take more pics of your rig then you're finished.
