Last weekend Wingut and I installed longarms on Annie. Here's how it went down.

Jack up Jeep.

Install crossmember. You will need to support the transfer case with a jack. Make sure the jeep is secure with four jackstands. Two stands under the axle and two under the frame. After removing the old t-case crossmember, replace with the new Iron Rock crossmember.

After you install the crossmember it is important to get wingnut to remove his control arm drop brackets.

The stock lower arm brackets were then removed. This was the toughest and most time consuming part of the entire job. Joe got to use his air hammer thingy. Sorry I didn't take any pics of this.

Then you install the arms. Easy peasy lemon squeazy.

Put tires on and take more pics of your rig then you're finished.

I hope my attempt at this writeup can be helpful and enjoyable to anyone who decides to peruse through it.

Good stuff! What are your thoughts/ opinions ion the kit after installing it?

I love it on road. It rides really well. The ride is even better than the drop brackets I had. I haven't had a chance to test it offroad yet but I'm sure it will perform amazing. Also the price is right. Its the same price as rough country's new long arms. The crossmember is easy to install and put together. To our surprise all of the bolt holes line up just about perfect. The installation took a little while but that was primarily due to hardware store runs and removing the factory brackets. I would recommend this kit to anyone.

I thought the install went easy and mine not only rides great but flexes really well

Looks good Brian. I will be interested to see how it does on the trails.
