Irish Festival in Charlotte

Today is the St. Pats/Irish Festival in Charlotte, NC. Parade starts at 11 on Tryon and Stonewall. Festival at 12noon until 10-11ish. Plenty of food, beer, Irish bands, step-dancing, food, beer, storytelling(for kids), beer and food.
It's usually a great time............ Meet at the Guiness booth at 1:30 if possible.

Once you reach downtown Charlotte, you'll see it. Try 4th and Tryon street at ist Union Center outside....... :sunshine:

wish i could make it i have to work til 1:30. ya'll drink one for me will have to try and get together @ a better time.
i think i have seen a different xj in pineville. grey or blue w/ cut fenders and i think 33's if that you then i know your rig.
there is also a red xj that is always at the school in pineville.

I've seen the jeep you are talking about....tried to catch the guy a few times.
I dont have my lift back on yet...had to remove it to pull the RV...maybee this week. I'm a rusty reddish maroon / black...black wheels, close to stock height at the time. SC plates.

I could be mistaken, but there was no Guiness Booth...I asked everybody around the place...stuck drinking "green light"...yuck! and whats up with the fat girls and belly shirts???????
Anyway, sorry i missed ya. Next time were gonna have to pick a location thats not portable...lol

Sorry it's taken me awhile to respond.
Yeh, I didn't know about Guinness backing out a few days before the festival. :wow:
Seems like they wanted to make everyone who wanted a Guiness to go to Connelly's or RiRa. Sorry for the confusion...
That green beer was low carb(many people bought them tho), but at least there was some Killians to fall back on.
