Intermittent hard start/stalling

The Jeep FSM may not use "CPS" but a quick session with google suggests that the rest of the automotive world does on occasion. You will find CPS and CKP regularly used for crank or crankshaft position sensor along with CAS for crank angle sensor.

The 97 FSM uses the abbreviations CMP and CKP for the camshaft and crankshaft position sensors. CPS is not used.

99% of the posts on NAXJA call it a CPS, not a CKP and have done so for at least 7 years.

You obviously aren't.

Whoa there hotshot, just because I asked for some input on my Jeep I'm not on your level? I was merely trying to get people to stop bickering over acronyms, which seems pretty pointless. I appreciate your input about the problem, but lose the attitude, it's only the internet.

Weak batteries are huge, especially grand Cherokees. Most sensors will still run at 10.5 11v but def a slight weak battery causing the alternator to work harder and more fluctuation of voltage in the system will affect sensors.
