interment problem

hi guys.
i could be driving along and my xj while start to miss and surge. If i shift it into
neutral and give it a boot it clears itself and run fine again for awhile.
i have change the following.
fuel pump
fuel filter
fuel regulator
injectors
coil
plugs
1994 4.0 auto rhd australia
is there an ignition module.
also had problem it will not crank fitted new ignition switch but not nss as moving gearstick dose not solve the problem let it sit for a couple minutes all fine.

I wouldn't take it out and bury it just yet...

The ignition module is in the distributor.

Is your MAP sensor mounted on the firewall?
If so, see if the vacuum line going to it isn't messed up.

Last time plugs and wires were replaced? Dizzy cap and rotor?
