Interest in having half doors made for the XJ?

Are you serious? I hope you are. But my sarcasm detector is on the fritz at the moment. I think i would have heard of that by now... But seriously, will that really work?

I have a feeling I'm gonna feel really dumb in a short while...

they do "fit" i have seen pics of them. I am not sure how much you need to weld in some spacers or move the hasp maybe or the reciever what ever its called. It would not require you to bend custom safari doors, just to custom mount them.

Exactly, everyone wanted them for around $200. Problem was that I spent $220 just for a set of 97+ doors, then about $50 in steel, add in 15+ hours of labor, and another $230 to add the rag cover, and I had a very hard time letting them go for $200 or so.
They are going to cost you more than you think, and noone is going to want to pay you what they are really worth.

Funny thing is some people will shell out over $800 for a bumper when you can get less expensive ones that are stronger and more useful, but when it come to most other things they cheap out. Look at the price of some roof racks, wheels, bumpers (as said before), and other stuff out there that people pay for when there are cheaper and sometimes better alternatives. The price of wrangler stuff is pretty high in my opinion, and people still pay for it...with things like half doors and soft tops, it's because they are good quality and not many companies make them.
