I got your point, but i just disagree.

If someone is good at one thing, does that person have to also be good, or have extensive knowledge about every other somewhat related topic?
Does a custom engine builder have to be a pro at suspensions?

Totally unrelated. The general idea is that if you know the advanced stuff, you should know the basics. Thats like knowing how to tie your shoe, but not how to get it on your foot........
