Sorry to hear about your Jeep Josh. His jeep is a 1991 4.0 with a ax-15 trans. His transfer case is a 231 and if I remember correctly in '91 manuals used a 21 spline right?

there is a 231 at the milliken pick-a-part its in a red 4 door i believe it was a 92
