im just an xj fan but i have a few questions?

i have a 1989 Suzuki samauri 1.3 liter 5 speed and its all stock well besides the new clutch. but any ways i need some ideas on what to get for it to match up to the xj. i need cheap ideas i dont really have much money im just asking for ideas.

spring over lift is the common place deal on thoes.

id say, put a spring over (bout 5" lift) and get some T-case gears, get some 31's and rock it!

the short wheel base and the cheapness and availibilty of thoes are the reason that people build them

here is the zuki that i helped a friend build -

31's, spring over, cage, front bumper, rear bumper, rebuilt 1.3, driveshaft spacers, brake line extentions, 6:1 RRO tcase, ...

A friend and I took one, used YJ leaves, sprung over used the bigger Toy axles and outboarded the leafs and its sitting on 35 Boggers

check out fourwheeler mag(cant remember which one) one of them had the cheep wheeler one of them had a zuki with a lift and 31's. its a shame i cant remember what mag it was in. it sucks getting old and suffering from C.R.S.

I think it was Peterson's 4 Wheel and Off Road the guy had the engine go right after they got it too....
