Is there anyway to manually idle down a renix? It idles around 1k and Id like it to be down around 750

Something is out of whack, likely TPS or IAC. Do not turn the adjustment screw, it is just a stop to keep the throttle plate from jamming in the bore.

What's the head on that screw? Is it a hex head? I think the PO messed with it on mine, so I want to make sure it's adjusted properly.

its decently sized for what ya would think, Id cant remember for sure, I just tried until it fit but Id guess around a 7mmish

Take the intake boot off and find the almost rectangle port on top of the throttle body. As the engine is running, put your thumb over that port. If the RPMs drop, then leave the throttle plate alone because your problem is elsewhere. If the RPMs don't, then adjust away!

Well, my 1400RPM drops down to ~600RPM when that hole is covered (I know, fat vacuum leak).
When I bought the truck, the PO said "sometimes, it dies on me, so I just adjust this screw [points to screw] and it's all better."
