i rolled mine and i need to go this route. I am just looking for ideas right now. thanks if anybody has anything I could come look at. I don't know about the windshield the a pillars are screwed. i was thinking about fabbing something like a fold down, but I don't really know about this, just looking into options for now.

Need to or want to? I dunno man, sounds like alot of work to save the 'ol XJ. Why not just replace it and swap your stuff over? XJ bodies can be had cheap.

Contact "Grant" here on - He's near Ft. Collins, but he's got a mid to late 80's 4 dr he's trying to get rid of..... rumor had it he was likely to scrap it if he couldn't get rid of it by the end of Feb. He's also got an '85 2dr body that's fully caged but it's a big project without drivetrain, electrical or interior. I'm claiming the '85 if he can't sell it, but if you think either of his XJ's could work for ya, give him a PM.

I bought a roof rack from him not too long ago and he had one sitting in his garage. I don't know if he still has it or not. Worth a try anyways.
