I received fantastic service from...

...The following suppliers. But first, a small rant.

There've been a surprising number of 'this vendor sucks' threads cropping up here lately. While I am by no means saying that there aren't vendors out there who flat-out suck, the people who felt that they were screwed-over tend to be more vocal than those who were more than satisfied with the service they received. With that in mind, I'm hoping to shift the balance somewhat.

For anyone who cares to contribute here, feel free to give an additional thumbs-up to any vendor already mentioned. Kicking things off:

- Dirk at DPG Offroad. I know that his service is already near-legendary, but that is no reason to not mention him here.
- Jesse at High Angle Driveline. Overworked and underappreciated.
- Rubicon Express. Though I've never had to speak with them directly, they've met all of their promises on the dot.

Anyone else care to step up to the plate?

I was very happy and satisfied with....

TnT Customs: They shipped out my shackles quiclky, and arrived in good time. Very satisfied with the product.
JCROffroad: I ordered some D ring weld on brackets, arrived to my place in great time, and a great product.
RE: Ordered some 2" spacers online, arrived 3 days later. Very fast shipping.

I will be ordering more TnT, JCR, and RE stuff here over the next few months.

This guy took real good care of me - we thought that UPS lost my driveshaft, so in talking with him, he was ready to make me another one at no charge, but then mine showed up the next day....

Ive also had good luck with my Tom Woods rear driveshaft

Ive recieved poor service from Rocky-Road outfitters and less than 'long lasting' parts. (stupid non-HD adjustable trackbar - eats joints at a rate of 1 joint for 3 months...)

Poision Spyder Customs has been very good about shipping items that I have ordered, and everything that I have ordered from them is still functioning. I had an issue where they sent me the wrong part, fixed me up real good, real fast...

I ordered a trackbar mount from JKS MFG (NAXJA sponsor) and that piece was top notch, shipped fast, works flawlessly...

Jody at WNC Custom Jeeps sold me my first lift - great guy, good parts, shipped on time, and sponsored winterfest -

so far ive only dealt with Dirk from DPG. OUTSTANDING ofcourse. And AJ'soffroad armour also outstanding.

Jesse is frickin awesome!

His prices aren't the cheapest, but it's WORTH IT! I measured wrong for my driveshaft, totally my fault, and needed it lengthened an inch. Lengthening requires a whole new tube, and should have cost near $100. Not only would he not let me pay, but he had it ready next day. He also spent about 45 minutes on the phone with me trying to diagnose a driveline noise that we were already sure wasn't coming from his shaft.

I've ordered from formattfab and C-ROK.
Formatt kept me in the loop the entire time of the build. Told me up front they were on back order.
C-ROk, accidentally sent my stuff to the wrong address, but made up for it with some stuff. Both places have A++++ customer service. If I get more money, I will definitely be ordering more junk from em!

I've always gotten good service from quadratec whether it's walkin, on-line or over the phone and one of the guys willl bring it to the monthly BMJA meeting, can't beat that for service.
I've also had good luck with Rustys
Wet Okole has also been quick on their seat covers.
I do alot of online ordering for my computer parts and have not had a problem with any of the places I've used. Newegg came thru again, ordered 40 1gb DDR2 sticks and 20 Asus DVD burners monday nite at 9pm, checked the tracking and ups says 'out for delivery' which means 5pm today for me, no fancy shipping either, just normal ups that newegg uses.

I've only order the front tow hooks from Rusty so far, but the shipping was right on time. I only received one tow hook, the brackets, and no hardware however so I called up Rusty and told him what happened. Got the rest of my stuff within the next couple of days at no charge to me. I don't know why people don't like him.

RUSTYS, great service so far on everything, zero problems
TNT Customs, shipped my Y-link right on time
AJs Armor, fantastic service and product

For shops in Maryland, Appalachian Offroad did a great job with my SYE and TNT y-link install. Kept me up to date, and very easy guys to work with. Even went for a ride with me to make sure everything was A-ok.

I dealt with Rustys about 5 years ago, No problems at all.

TnT Customs answered my questions and got my boomerang shackles to me FAST!

Tom Woods... Lets just say he kicks ass! Sent my mainshaft in to be reworked and had it back the same week! When I called him with the measurements for the DS, it was at my front door within a week also.

offroadtoystore.com has been good to me in the past. I ordered my RE arms and trackbar from them. Good prices, good service.

Summit racing also has great customer service and ships parts out fast.

Rusty's
I ordered a high steer kit last Monday and it arrived yesterday (Tuesday), complete, good kit. I was happy especially considering he was getting ready to go to EJS.

Porc
My SYE kit came 3 days after it was ordered and it is a good kit with real good directions.

Skyjacker
Had a problem with my trac bar, bushing wore out quickly (probably because I put too much pressure on it trying to keep my driveshaft away from my exhaust) They sent me out another bar in two days, no questions asked.

Dirk @ DPG is top notch, real great guy and great prices.

I've also had good experiences from Jason @ Jeepin' Outfitters, and Jesse @ High Angle Driveline. Also, I've gotten some stuff reasonably from PerformancePeddler.com since they are willing to haggle on thier prices.

DPG
High Angle Driveline
Rubicon Express
And yes even Rusty's

Edit: Forgot to give props to AJ. Be patient and you will not be disappointed!

DPG and High Angle especially. Both have spent time explaining things to me to help me make the right choices. I have not even purchased anything from Jesse at High Angle YET and they have spent quite a bit of time helping me understand how to measure and the ins and outs of proper driveline angles.

Dirk at DPG is always excellent, I've been doing business with him for over 3 years. His customer service is the best I've dealt with.

I think instead of people asking where they can get the best deal on a product, they need to ask where will I get the best service. when you run into a problem those few bucks you might have paid extra will all be worth it when you have a reputable, experienced vendor that backs you up until the problem is resolved.

...great thread BTW!!!

I ordered my t-case skid from CSEOffroad. Showed up in a few days, was the lowest price I found and they tossed free shipping in the deal.
My Rock rails came from Rockwers, Brian AKA XJNation here on the board.
DHL hosed me, but they shipped when he said they would and he even primered them so that I could mount them in time for WF. No complaints about Brian's service, DHL on the other hand sucks the donkey balls.

My prefered vendors:

- DPG: Dirk is excellent.

- High Angle Driveline: Jesse is excellent also.

- Performance Off-Road Center (PORC): Good service/prices.

- Rustys: Rusty's gets bad press but I've had good luck buying stuff from him (ARB, WARN, etc.). Rusty goes out of his way to try to get you the best pricing and shipping. Normally it is a price war between Rusty and PORC on hard parts.

- C-Rok: Excellent products, excellent service, very good value.

- Jeepin.com: Excellent service and prices. Their web site has lots of install style articles, great Jeep enthusiast involvement.

- Quadratec: Excellent service. I ordered a "jack guard" from them and they forgot to ship the stainless steel mounting brackets. They were willing to ship the parts to my address in Canada instead of my normal destination in upstate NY and they picked up the difference on the shipping, brokerage, etc. Top notch.

- JEG'S: Fast and cheap!

My prefered manufacturers

- WARN: good value, good design/engineering. Good mix of products (armour, axles, FF kits).

- ARB: good value, good design/engineering. Lockers are the benchmark other selectables are measured against.

- Rubicon Express: Again, the benchmark. What they lack in "gee wiz" they make up in quality and consistency.

- JKS MFG: Everything I've gotten from JKS has been top notch. Excellent materials and welding.

- C-Rok: see vendors above.

I also need to stick up for Rusty. Great guy and when there is a problem, he goes out of his way to fix it. I Personally feel his products are top notch and untill I have an issue with a weld (I haven't so far) I will still continue to reccomend and sing his praises.
