In the boneyard finds that is. Went to the j/k again today. Scored new auto dim, compass, temp rear view from a late model suburban. The first mirror I found last trip didn't have temp(I thought it did) so it only had dim and compass but the new one has all three. Found another sound bar(yes I grabed it) in an xj that was tucked away in the back, thats 2 sound bars in under 3 weeks. It needs to be recoved, as you can tell,buts its solid. Trying to decide if I want to install it up by the front or just sell it. And I also scored a set of Alpine S-type 6.5 speakers that were in a blazer. New manual window regulator for the pass side and a new fold away remote driver mirror

Thinking about putting these in the doors. will have to mod the door opening but thats ok and thats the old mirror from last trip to the j/k

so I take it the mirror is Battery powered?

If by battery powered you mean seperate batteries then no. Its a Gentex-177 auto dim with compass. Its 12volt, the box you see attached to it is the compass senosr cover. The wiring plugs in behind the mirror its self.
