I hate transfer cases!

well the book says it takes 2 hours to swap a case in an XJ. after lots of digging i finally found all the bolt heads and after 2 hours it was finally on the ground....new ones up and splined in, got to get shorter bolts for the cross member since ill have no drop, otherwise we are lookin good

FYI im changing from a 242 with 1.5 inch TC drop to a 231 with PORC SYE and front DS WITH NO DROP!!! yay, hope to be done this evening

Well it only took us about 2 hours to switch out Tranny and TC when we did the 2WD to 4WD a few months ago.

2 hours for TC + 2 hours for beer drinking...yeah, I can see why it would take him longer.

any time you add beer into the equasion, you have to add at least 2 to 3 hours to the build/install time. :laugh:
