I hate my steering colum!

There must be 50 parts to disassemble just to tighten the tilt knuckle. I've had most of it apart 6 times now. All I have to do now is install the wheel, horn ring, horn button, column brace, hook up the all the wiring, replace the lower dashboard panel and heater hoses, replace the CB radio, and replace my air compressor gauge and hope it all works. Yes, I used locktight. Damn it's cold!

Not to state the obvious, but be sure to use red lock tight on those 4 tilt column torx bolts! I had to do the same thing with mine. Fun stuff!

Hey I was just curious how you came out on your transfer case after the Hole in the Rock run. I never did hear the story other than you had trouble with it down there.

i opened up the TC and found it full of metal shavings so I sent it to Tera Flex. They said it was their fault since a planetary gear shaft came loose. They picked up the cost except for a new chain and tail shaft bearing. It's much quieter now than it ever was before. The first one must have been bad from the get go.
