First I know this is an XJ forum but I also own a TJ.

So was going thru 4WD Hardwares part catalog today and right there on page 2,http://www.bestop.com/index.php?s=64. Sorry for the link to lazy to photobucket it. Anyways I will now boycott Bestop for thinking this was a good idea. It doesnt even vent. JEEPS SHOULD NOT BE MADE TO LOOK LIKE HUMMERS!

The only good thing I can say about a BUMMER is that they are mostly made here in the USA.......other than that..............they suck ***assgas:

The op is not to bash on hummers. It more, to me at least, the fact that a company would try to bring styling cues from one manufactuer to its competitor. From the stand point that Hummer believes they are as capable offroad as a Jeep. You dont see to many people trying to add a Ford grill to a Chevy truck, or visa versa. I personnaly see the vent on a hummer as respectable, this one isnt even functional. And it is similar to the Buick fender vents that everyone is adding to their Hyundai's, makes no sense to me. Just my opinion thats all. Oh and I do like some of the other products offered by Bestop, just not this one.

The H3 is good to drive, does decent in the dirt - actually supposed to be very good, but seeing as to how it was a company car (Hertz) I didn't get to really try it out, nice interior, reasonably powerful, even moreso now with the V8. Never driven an H2, but to me it's no different than an Escalade or Navigator. Its a big, luxurious SUV that also happens to run 35s from the factory. The H1, well come on, I want one of them. Those are bad. 37s w/CTIS, a 12k winch, rock rails, and lockers from the factory? Awesome. No, it's not a rock crawler, but it wasn't built to be. It was built to drive across rough terrain, sand, hills, etc. Our XJs aren't particularly good at pre-running until you spend some money on em, but they weren't built for that either.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and the Bummer is actually a kit car. Hummer body put on a Suburban chassis.
