So we got the TREs done which has made a noticeable difference. Now I have to do u-joints and probably the ball joints and brakes.

Sounds like it'd be cheaper and less time intensive to swap a whole good axle into it.

Also, the rust hole in the front fender finally broke through. Damn northern Jeeps.
 
well think of it this way. unless you find a good axle with all new bearings and joints then your better off this way. because even if you find a good axle... when are those tres and ball joints going to go out?

atleast you dont have to replace the unit bearings as well. you going to make it to the Crawl?
 
Maybe I'll just swap in a new axle and run it into the ground, then swap in another. haha.

My Jeep wouldn't make it to the Crawl. And if it did, it wouldn't make it back home.
