HP D44 in Front, Questions?

Being a big believer in strength, my XJ at some point in the near future will sport D44 front and rear. Yesterday while cruising around I found some reference to HP D44's for the front of an XJ, and it said the HP wouldn't work without the driveshaft interfering (rubbing or striking) the oil pan and other things. Is this true? Or true of un-lifting vehicles? I'm planning to go up 4.5 inches. Thoughts?

44's from 1972-1976 Broncos are low pinion, and the casting is more centered in the vehicle.

1969-1979 F-150 and 1977-1979 Big Bronco's are high pinion. They don't interfere with anything on the rig, if set up properly.
