How to keep the beer cold while wrenching

I saw one about that same time using cooling fan from a CPU processor mounted to the bottom of a mug.

Neat idea but you were limited in range as the cord was only 40 ft long.

GoJeep actually has some really good idea for keeping drinks cold, at least while on the road. i also like to stick a bottle of _________(fill in the blank) in the little cargo space underneath the glove box. with the A/C on it keeps it fairly cool.

Donnie, you're out of your element.

That's it. I've had enough.

I'm moving south of the equator. Kiwi brilliance and Brasilian girls, I'm on my way. I've known for years that a jet engine could keep beer cold, but I'm stuck here with ugly flight attendants on Swedish aircraft asking for ice. There's only so much a man can take.

Absolute brilliance, yes. However, two facts keep pestering me. 1) LPG can, itself, be a refrigerant; and 2) LPG can be burned to drive an ammonia refrigerant ice machine. I don't know how to relate these to this bloke's LPG turbine, but I'm thinking it should be possible to turn that tub of water into a block of ice with only a fraction of that bottle.

This is going to take a lot more beer...

Except that "cooling" fan will blow only ambient (room temperature) air, actually causing the contents of the mug to reach room temp faster than they otherwise would...
