How to Flush PS pump

What is the best(easy) way to flush the PS pump.

I have a suction gun, so what I was going to do is suction out the stuff in the reservoir, add in fesh, cycle the system lock to lock, suction reservior, cycle, and do this till 2 quarts in cycled through the system.

Sound OK?

yeah that could work, or you can remove the return line since that is low pressure, and let it flow into a container while filling the reservoir with fresh fliud while running. jus be careful not to get the fluid on the hot exhaust.

which one is the return line, and how is it attached.. is it just a hose clamp?

the return line is the one attached to the reservior not the threaded one in the body of the pump
