A nuisance to get the height right, the leveling, etc., and it's pretty heavy. I've done this with stone steps, and of course it can be done, and it's worth it if you have a big hunk of marble or something, but if you're just doing concrete anyway, pouring in place makes a lot of sense here, because it will end up just the size and shape required, and XJeeper's instructions look pretty clear.
