One. I'm po. The wife doesn't even have a vehicle anymore. Largely because we gave her pickup away...

I'm looking at six right now down my driveway and behind the shop.

ok, ok, only five are mine!

I'd like to find a 4.0MJ (prefereably w/4WD and 5-speed,) and I've got no reason not to take more XJ's if the opportunities present themselves. Oh - anyone got an M35A2 lying about they'd be willing to part with as well?

Why would you want the 5spd compaired to the AW4? Just wondering.

I have 2, 89 2dr DD/trail rig and 89 4dr driveway ordiment/driver

To give my left foot something to do... :laugh3:

Seriously, I just happen to prefer a stick over an auto - and it makes it easier for me to put in a decent transmission later if I don't have to install a clutch pedal and hydraulics.

That doesn't mean that I'll turn down an AW4 - not by any means! I like the AW4 - it's probably the best slush box I've ever had to deal with (and I've seen them all - from the THM125 GM transaxle to the big Alisons - inside and out!)

Most of all, I just need a decent small pickup - and if I can get one where I already know what colour the wires are, so much the better - it makes my life easier. Kinda like the advantage of having four RENIX XJ's - I'm not shifting mental gears all the time while I'm working on them (just when I'm changing projects - like after fixing things in the house...)

3 but one is slowly being pulled aprt for my other project but it will come back as an XJ sort of kinda a tinnie tiny bit

You need to trade that second 89 in for a 90 to complete the cycle.

I only have one...well one and a quarter if you count all the parts in the garage. ;)

Nah - but I do still need to get at least one 90-95, and I'd like to finish the set with at least one each 86-92MJ. Not greedy - just working on a museum of "The Forgotten Jeep..." Maybe I'll get OBD-II later - it will be something I probably won't work on much...

well since i just got another one i figure ill share. I just picked up another one the other day. It is a 96 with the mopar tow package which is completley stock, then i have my DD 92 xj with 3.5 inches of lift and 32's

Seven if you include MJ's, Three if you don't. One DD/trail XJ, one race XJ, one parts XJ, one soon to be DD/trail MJ, one parts hauler 2wd MJ (soon to be for sale), and 2 parts MJ's. And a car on top of all that.

can i change my answer? just picked up a 92, cost, a day of labor.
stock,4.0,231,8.25,165,000mi.,4-dr,lil bit o' rust on the doors but solid elsewheres. runs really good, so i consider it a good reward for a hard days work. now i just gotta figure out how to explain it to the wife...

funny..personally I've got 3 right now...my trail/dd jeep(6" 35"s)...my wifes trail jeep (5" 35"s)and her street jeep(3"31"s)...but at the carlot we own we've sold close to 100 in about 3.5 years...a little joy...a little pain...

the car lot also has a 85 4cyl 4spd 2wd mj beater/errand truck w/ 216k that starts and runs when ever we need it...also a 82 full size waggy that someone traded for a 84 honda, the waggy gets used to push junkers around the back yard...and about 8 parts xj's...
