To get where ya can set one ya like, click the little blue/grey button up at the top r/h of the page...'user CP' there select 'edit options' and you can set "your" preferences as to posts shown etc...and at the bottom of the page is where the avitar is set.

Also in the user CP is 'edit profile' where ya can tell us all ya care to about yourself.

I strongly encourage everyone to declare their city and state of residence -- state (or country, if applicable) at a minimum.

Why? Because when you post a question about which operating conditions may be a factor, and you don't tell us whether you're in Death Valley, CA, or Nome, AK, you'll get a bunch of answers that may not apply. Ditto parts -- if you're looking for an entire 4.0L long block to use as a boat anchor for your new Cigarette, "Ive got one you can pick up" doesn't help if you're on the other end of the country.
