How many miles on your stroker? Any issues?

How was your stroker built?

5000 miles so far going strong, $7000 on motor complete from hesco with aluminum head and another $2000 in parts to make it all happy. ie. stronger motor mounts (custom) remote oil filter with an fitings, silcon hoses for radiator, aluminum radiator, custom fuel pump and regulator, header to tail pipe work, HD torque converter, HD trans cooler, 62 mm throtle body, other things I can't remember.
 
Home built.top dollar parts. Chevy valve train, Yella Terra rockers 500 miles. Dynoed the motor and found extreme lean condition ..nowlooking at a piggy back controll for a/f/.
 
got 16 miles on mine. sputters and backfires and runs realllly lean. it will idle awesome, right about 700, it will rev good, but as soon as you go to hit the throttle under load it will sputter than go and then when you let off the gas, it backfires.

i have 4.6 ltr..24 # injectors, a header, high flow cat and magnaflow muffler... going to mess w/ the map sensor saturday and do one like dyno did. hopefully thats what the problem is.

any suggestions?
 
i got about 130 miles on it so far. you guys were dead on w/ the distributer being off...when we dropped it in, we dropped it at TDC w/ the 1 plug wire, not 3 mm past that. so we went even further, we cut off the ear on the distributer so we can move it freely so we can get it tuned to where we want it. it runs great so far..real torquey, idles between 5-600 rpm and seems to run really good on 89 octane. im running 33's w/ 3:55 gears and it pushes them really nice on the highway, unlike before. best of all the new ram hemi aint got nothing on me lol.
