True enough. I went with the DD Machine one because it has the built-in drain/fill plugs, the new shift rail, and the threaded holes for the blocking plate. Pat may have revised the mad rooster kit since I looked at 'em over a year ago. Both work equally well though for what they do.
 
well this option is damn near free....i have almost all the crap to do it.

i have alot of parts left to buy so it may be a temporary deal.
 
okay so i came up on a nv241OR.... i wont be doing this.

if i was i was just going to make a shaft with jack over at CTM and get a 3/4 piece of aluminum plate and drill holes to make the adapter/blockoff/clocking ring.

but screw that ive got a stronger bolt in 4:1 t case now!
