Sells here locally (NC) for $30 a case  but it's worth it. Also found it on tap (IIRC it was the Pale Ale) at a local steak house.

Wondering how much less it sells for locally.

Ahh well, must be price fixing

it's a wash then...unless ya factor in that y'alls might be fresher.

The lowest I've seen it here was $6.89/6 on sale.

That's a great idea Jes

Thanks for offering! 10 kegs brought in for the event will do fine.

We can snab some zamboni 'snow' from the local hockey rink to keep em chilly...

I'm torn between bringing 3 cases of Sierra or 12 cases of Bud Light.

Approximately the same alcohol content in either volume, and I can get BL in Utah, where the state doesn't look too kindly on 6% beer.........

$4.99 a sixer in good ol' Chico. 12ers ran right around $11, so I never bought any. I've heard they have good deals at the brewery, but every time I went, the prices seemed the same. Yeah, it really sucked living 10 blocks from Seirra Neveda.

Sorry I came in late, been real busy. I work in the town where the brewery is, and live in the mts above it. The brewery has deals on specialty runs (Celebration Ale, SummerFest, etc.) seasonally, and those are usually a great deal, but their regular "special" brewery price for Pale Ale is higher than Costco's. Costco usually runs right around 19 bux a case. I don't know what shipping would run from here to there, but I'd certainly be willing to try it (in spite of the revenooers) if its worth it for ya...

Try the Porter, its great, IMO.

Aaack, I only have one jar of squeezin's left :( Time for another road trip!

I really like the Summerfest beer, it's more of what I call a lite beer. We drank a case of that in Moab.

I really like the Celebration. The summerfest is great. I dont really care for the Porter or Stout. I drink a lot of the Wheat, when I can find it. If you're ever in Chico, check out the brewery. SN actually makes about 12 to 14 different beers. I like the Crystal Wheat (basically the wheat filtered) and the Pilsner on hot days. During the winter, the Bigfoot Ale will put you down for the count. Since I've moved to the bay area, I've gotten hooked on Lagunitas beers. I've been combing the stores for the Octoberfest, but I haven't found it near me yet. Sounds like its time for a trip over to Peteluma.

I like their beer, as far as organics go, it's the best of the lot, IMHO.

But ... I heard that they went out of business this summer :(
I'll try to confirm that, I don't know it for certain, I've just heard it from several folks.
