Hollister Hills April 5-7th

I will be up at Hollister Hills on april 5th through the 7th.

Plans are to head up on Tuesday the 5th, wheel the rest of the day, and camp in the campgrounds Tuesday night. Then we will wheel some more on Wednesday morning and then go over to the ATV/Dirtbike side of the park. We plan on riding Wednesday afternoon, camp, ride Thursday morning/afternoon, and then head home.

If anyone wants to meet up for the day, or camp for a night or two, let me know!

Awesome! Are you planning on meeting up for the day? Or camping for the night?

As for the yota guys taking over, yep they can be a bit crazy, but since this is during the week, I'm not all that worried.

Question: did they open another section of the park? When I looked at the map last time, there was a whole new 4x4 section on the other side of the main (paved) road.

From what I understand there is land there for a 4x4 park but its not open because they can't get environmental approval to make it ok for use. What I do know is certain people keep making a big stink about the dirt bike noise and the errosion in the 4x4 park so the park is going to extremes to put up fencing and keep trucks on the trail. As you can see by all the new wood fencing they keep putting up, I'm pretty certain with whats going on with all the changes I cant imagine the other park is open. I heard they have owned that land for 15 or 20 years and still can't get approval. Anyway, I'm sure this is more then what you wanted to know and I'm not trying to stir any arguments on here but thats what I have heard over the last few years.

Thanks, interesting stuff. I just thought I was odd seeing it on the map, it had trails drawn, as well as rated and named IIRC.
