Hitch mounted 10,000lb winch - $350

I have a winch that I used on my XJ. The Jeep is sold, and I don't need the winch anymore, so its up for sale too. I am pretty sure its a 10,000lb Milemarker winch with a Chicago Electric box. The orignal wired remote is gone so I have a custom remote with a 3-way rocker switch attached, it works great. The winch is mounted on a heavy duty custom-made 2" hitch plate. This is NOT your cheap HF winch plate, it is VERY strong and heavy. If you have a front and rear hitch on your bumpers, you can winch from the front OR the rear, and store it in the back to protect it from the weather and thieves! Perfect winch setup!

I bought this setup used around 6 months ago for $400, used it all of 3 times, and it worked flawlessly each time. Asking $350 for the complete setup. Local pickup only (Rochester, NY), I think this thing is too heavy to ship! PM if you have any questions.

How do you connect the power? Are there HD alligator clips (Think Jumper cables) on the ends of the wire?

I used Heavy Duty Jumper Cables and connected it straight to the battery along the passenger side. Not the most elegant solution, but it always worked! I was planning on buying 2-gauge welding wire and the big connectors and wiring it through the jeep to have front and rear plug-in connections, but I just never got around to it.

Na, not usually. I will be heading through Ohio to Indiana in the next week or 2 though, if that helps anyone. :roll:
