High Flow Cat Part Numbers

Anyone have the latest part numbers for some high flow cats both with and without bungs already installed? Mine is kinda shot now so I want to get a new high flow one. How much of a difference from a high flow cat vs. oem replacement? Hopefully these things are under $100 shipped. It's a 98 with the 4.0, and california emissions (but idk if it matters if i put on a non-cali one). Thanks in advance for the responses.

I bought the 2 o2 bung 94165 magnaflow cat for $80 shipped from Greyhound Performance. I wanted the 2nd bung for a wideband 02 sensor. I paid $65 for the 94105(no bungs) I had on my 94.

Was that a direct replacement too? I might try to find one with one bung unless I just plug it until I decide what to do with it....What do you have for a wideband, gauge, and do you like it?

Both were 2.25" and I used a 16-18" piece of pipe b/t the cat and muffler. I'm still waiting for Innovate to release the LM-2, so that'll be what I'll use to tune the stroker right.

16-18"?? I'm planning on getting the high flow cat and replacing my muffler with an oem one (might keep the magnaflow dunno, it cant get annoying sometimes). I can just put a set screw or something into the second bung till I get a wideband right? So does this cat match up pretty closely with the oem one, I dont have the jeep near me to measure it out. On a side note, are there any detrimental effects if I have a california vehicle? Thanks.

Yes, some weld in O2 bungs are sold with the bolt to close it.

Another option for a wideband with data logging is the Wego III by Daytona Sensors

I don't see why there would be--it's an OBD2 cat with an extra bung. Go to Magnaflow's website and look at the 94615. There should be a CARB label somewhere there--I just checked, it is CARB compliant.

Its just that most say 49 state legal. I bought one off planetmagnaflow for $80 shipped so I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for the help.

i posted a thread a while ago with the part number for a direct bolt on 2.5" cat that is about 120 dollars. has the same square flange on the front and is just a smidge shorter. walker and goerlich both show application listing for it for a 78 cherokee with a 360.

i think the goerlich (carquest) number was #642647 (GOE is the activant line code if they ask.)

put that with a pacesetter, bigger muffler, and a dynomax tailpipe and it's true 2.5"

If the cat you want to buy doesn't come with two O2 sensor bungs then you can add your own easily. Last week I drilled out and welded on an extra set of O2 sensors into a mustang exhaust. It took about 5 minuts.
Just throwin the option out there.

Gradon, not sure what year yours is, but the stock o2 sensor after the cat has the same threading as the new cat correct? I'm assuming it does and it doesnt exactly matter as the cat is on my desk but still.
