Hey everybody,

Just thought i would introduce myself. My name is Derek live in south central Minnesota. Drive a 99 XJ swapped a d44 in the rear, aussies front and rear budget boosted with 31" tsl's. Waiting to go under the knife to put a set of upcountry leafs and coils I picked up. The most important mod: baby seat for my 15 month old daughter :)

Welcome to the group!

I've been to Mankato many times, as my stats state, I'm from the Onalaska/La Crosse area, but am going to school in Menomonie...

Theres a couple other guys lurking about from this area, Jeff up by Rochester, myself, Raymont in Onalaska, a guy over in Sparta and some others... Hop on FB if you have it and look up the MWC there...

Hi.

You'll fit in well here.......as long as you aren't a verizon employee or drive a subaru.

Welcome to the MWC where our previous president loves sheep, the current one likes Cheese, I like to post and bacon and beer are currency and yes I'm serious about that. As long as you have thick skin you'll fit in just fine.

Welcome.

Cheese is good.

FlexdXJ is a toothless hillbilly.

Cheeseman-OUT!

Welcome

Welcome. Your skin doesn't even have to be too thick.

Welcome to the forum. How much lift are you planning. I don't think the Up country will really clear 31's good at all.

Combined with a BB it will rob. Hell, I am running 31's on a BB alone.

Welcome...to you and your daughter.

Our Midwest Chapter has a Winterfest outing in March 2011.
We'll soon have a thread dedicated to that.
We have different totals, but it was anywhere from 90-100 Cherokees and Comanches in attendance.
It is a great place to get to know us.

Right now I'm at roughly 2" of lift. Enough to clear 31's but they rub like hell. Should have about 3" or so after the Up country additions. When i have access to a computer I will post up some pics of my XJ. Hard to copy the links from my phone...

And they clear the mall curbs just fine, don't they :jester:

Dats fo sho! Just barely though. Good thing I have those skid plates! :laugh3:
