If she doesn't agrre to paying for the emissions point out to here that CO Law states that any vehicle being sold must have a valid passing emissions test (where applicable) with-in 30 days of selling. If the purchaser takes it in for the test and it fails, the seller is responsible for making sure the car passes.

Well i just talked to her, and she said she would get the emisions done on it, that was no problems. And shes taking $4000 for it since im going to have to change the oil and the O ring. So we are going to pick it up friday as long as it passes emissions. My son is stoked. Thanks for all the help, and everything you guys have done for me, if i ever need any help fixing anything, ill put a post out and yall come help me right... lol jk

This website is the reason my Heep runs.

Congrats on the XJ! Your other son will want one after wheeling this one.

sweet, now just rip those bushmasters off and sell the for a rediculous amount of money. Then go buy some Rusty's flex flares.

even the new flexible ones? i just saw adams in person uninstalled and you can literally fold them up into a little square and throw them at the ground, they just bounce back into their original shape.

my '87 xj waggy has 248k on it, and a cracked block! nothing a little jbweld couldnt handle! thing runs great, good oil preasure, no bad noises(clicks clacks clunks) and no smoke! It all depends on who had the jeep and the care that was given to it! my buddy picked up a '90 not long ago with 198k on it and honestly i think he got ripped off. thing runs like crap, has a bad exhaust leak, tweaked suspension, broken tranny mount, and i think he may have a bad ujoint.... a little TLC it may turn out to be ok and last a long time, but i doubt he is willing to put any money into it!

Tell him I'll give him $50 for it. LOL

I've horsed around with a couple of the RENIX Heeps now. Have yet to touch one with less than 200K. If that leak is an exhaust manifold, it can have some unexpected results because it skews the air/fuel reading at the oxygen sensor.
