I only have one. That's sort of the root of the problem.
I have no doubt the green wire makes it from the blower motor switch to the resistor. I need a second one that goes to the blower motor itself. Odds are it is spliced in the harness somewhere.
Sleeping on it again (I do my best work in my sleep...:dunce, I think I should simply run a new wire rather than go hunting for a splice. I can either decide that the green wire runs from the speed selector switch to the relay and run a new wire to the blower motor, or decide that the green wire runs to the blower motor and run a new wire from the speed selector switch to the relay. Simply disconnect whichever of the three ends I am not using and seal it off so the smoke doesn't leak out.
It is not the ideal solution, but it would be better than what I currently have in place.
