Moved back home to Denver after many years gone. Brought back my XJ, and hope to fix it up in time to explore the hills next summer.
Not into crawling, more into expedition type trips/trails/adventures.
It's a '98 XJ Sport, replaced the tranny last year, and due to a rear main seal leak - I'm going to reman/rebuild the engine this fall.
Looking for an engine to rebuild while I continue to drive it... I figured it would be easier to build one on the stand and then swap, so I'm hunting through Craigslist - trying to spend less than $300 on that engine, and building with quality kit... replacing oil pump, timing assembly, etc.
Let me know if anyone knows a good source for pulling a decent donor engine, or if anyone here has one!
