Heavy duty coil springs

So back story. My jeep is a 96 xj currently sitting at 9.5 inches of lift. Motor is currently an ls. I will be pulling that motor out and diesel swapping it using a 6.5td. The new motor weighs around 1k lbs wet. I've read about using f250 coils which I'm all for, but I'm wanting to drop the lift height to around 6.5 inches. Does anybody know how big of a lift coil I would need off an f250 to get me around that height?

Seems like you might be able to try your current springs for free, given you will have a heavier motor. Can always clip a coil off too.

That does not sound like an engine you would run without structural reinforcements and axle upgrades. Have you considered weighing the front end and maybe converting to coil over shocks?
Coilovers are on the list of things but don't have the funds for them at the moment. I've already done a bunch of chassis and structural bracing. So I'm not too worried about that.
