so i heard that slaughter house gultch was closing soon? is this true?

I don't think so. The Colorado Go Fours maintain that trail and have a very good working relationship with the Forest Service to keep it open. There is/will be some heavy work done to the mud holes in the Crow Creek area just off the Slaughterhouse loop to repair the damage from several bypasses created. That area will be closed while the repairs are done and for a long while after to let the re-seeding take and develop.

.....the mud pits at Slaughter house are closing. They are filling it in, seeding natural plant life and cable & posting it.

Slaughterhouse was Grated so all the challenge is gone. It's basically a dirt road
